The EmployABILITY Bootcamp for Employers - a daylong training by employers for employers.

Leverage disability inclusion in your organization to stay competitive.

Our goal for the 2018 UMD EmployABILITY Bootcamp for Employers is:

    • to share best practices in disability inclusion and
    • to support peer-learning and exchange

among the community of employers invested in driving business performance through disability inclusion.

We encourage you to come and participate in presentations by Accenture, EY, JP Morgan Chase, PwC, Disability:IN (formerly USBLN), NSA, Kaiser Permanente, among others. While on our campus, you will grow the pipeline that connects you with our talented, internship- and career-ready students.

We are limiting registration to 40 employers to make certain our format supports peer-learning and exchange.  Our goal is for all participants to have questions answered and ideas vetted. We encourage you to register promptly.

Please find the topics and questions that our presenters plan to discuss here.

The event will take place in the Atrium Room of the Stamp Student Union. This room is on the first floor of the Student Union (please see this floor map for guidance). If you have trouble locating your room, please ask the information desk in the Stamp Student Union.

Once you arrive outside the Union Lane Garage, a team member will be on hand to greet you and point the way to the Atrium. We will have coffee, tea and light snacks available in the morning, but you will pass a Starbucks in Stamp Student Union too.

Use this link to Google Maps - http://goo.gl/0iM3aC - for the location of the Union Lane Parking Garage.  You can click on "Directions" on the left hand side of the Google Maps screen to obtain directions from your starting location.

Parking is available in the Union Lane Parking Garage.   To reach the Union Lane Parking Garage entrance, enter campus from Baltimore Avenue (also known as Route 1) and turn onto Campus Drive at the main entrance.  At the traffic circle (the “M”), go halfway around and continue on Campus Drive (the second exit).  Continue driving past the bus stops on the right hand side. Union Lane will be on the right just past the Stamp Student Union (between Stamp and Cole Field House).  Make a right turn onto Union Lane and the garage will be on your left.

This campus map will help orient you as to the location of the garage and the Student Union.

Only a limited number of spaces in that garage are visitor parking – follow signs for the pay parking and make sure you park in a spot with a number.

The Pay Station machine is finicky-- it takes a long time to process information so don't push too many buttons. Wait before pushing the same or a new button.

**If you receive a parking ticket for any reason, the University Career Center is not responsible for paying the fine. Please follow instructions carefully and ask if you have any questions.

Walking Directions from Union Lane Garage to the Stamp Student Union:

The Stamp Student Union is located across the street from the top floor of the Union Lane Parking Garage. Cross the street and enter the Stamp Student Union. We will have signage to point the way. If you get lost, please go to the Information Desk located on the first floor of the Stamp. The phone number for the Stamp Information Desk is 301-314-3375. They will help direct you to the Atrium.

**If there are no visitor spots available in Union Lane Garage, the next closest lot is the Regents Drive Parking Garage (Google Maps link: http://g.co/maps/5hf57). Drive up to the roof of Regents Drive Parking Garage for the paid visitor parking, and follow the instructions for the Pay Station laid out above.  On the 3rd floor of Regents Garage, cross the bridge to Hornbake Plaza.  When you are across the bridge, turn right and head up the hill to Stamp Student Union.
