The EmployABILITY Program promotes support for neurodiversity and disability inclusion for all University of Maryland students and our employer partners.

We offer professional preparation for students with neurodiversities/disabilities

o   self-advocacy, self-determination and empowerment  skills;

o   clarity regarding the disability and how it impacts the individual;

o   accommodations that will support success on the job;

o   understanding disclosure and the best time to disclose a disability;

o   negotiating disability in the workplace with supervisors and co-workers;

o   how to find the employers recognized for supporting disability inclusion; and

o   introductions to many of those employers.

We can help you connect to fellowships, internships and hiring opportunities in organizations and companies that champion neurodiversity and disability inclusion.
