Please note that all interviews and employer information sessions can be scheduled in-person or virtually. We will work with you to make revisions, as needs change or circumstances allow.
If you are setting up virtual interview schedules via your organization's own recruiting system this semester, please let UMD students know that they are welcome to reserve rooms in the Career Center as a quiet space to interview. Students should contact email@example.com or 301.314.7225 to reserve a room.
Interviewing occurs during the fall and spring semesters.
Fall 2021: Tuesday, September 7 - Friday, December 10
Interviews are held Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. To give enough time for students to apply for positions and respond to invitations to interview, it is strongly suggested that reservations be made AT LEAST four weeks in advance.

How to Request an Interview Room:
- Log into Careers4Terps.
- Select "Request On-Campus Interview Date" in the Quick links section.
- Complete the Interview Schedule Request form. This guide shows how to complete the form and attach a job/internship posting to your interview schedule.
- The On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator may reach out to confirm your interview details or ask follow-up questions. If no contact can be made within 5 business days, the request will be removed.
- A confirmation email will be sent once your interview schedule has been approved (please also check your spam/junk mail folders).
For Preselect to Alternate schedules, be sure to "attach your position" to your interview schedule in order for your schedule to be approved. You will receive a confirmation email once the position and schedule are approved. See this overview on the On-Campus Interview process for guidance on how to do this.
For Room Only schedules, please email your interview schedule to firstname.lastname@example.org AT LEAST 24 HOURS before the interview date OR bring a copy of the schedule with you on the day so that our front desk team know where to direct candidates.

On the day of the interviews, you will be greeted by a member of the Center staff and shown to your interview room(s). Your candidates will wait in the interview suite until called into the interview by your team.
All employers will have access to WiFi, hot/cold drinks and light refreshments.
A variety of lunch options are available to employers, based upon preference. Please see this campus map for locations of on-campus options and a list of a number of off-campus vendors (more below).
The delivery address for food orders is: The University Career Center & The President's Promise, 3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing, 4130 Campus Drive, College Park, MD 20742. Please make sure to add your company name at the top of the address so we know who the delivery is for (e.g. XYZ company, The University Career Center & The President's Promise...)
Our Stamp Student Union offers a wide variety of fast-food options. Please note that the Student Union is very busy for lunch between noon and 1.30pm each weekday, so you may wish to alter your scheduled lunch period on that basis.
There are a variety of quick cafe options in adjacent buildings for sandwiches, soup and Ramen noodles
Local restaurants can make catering deliveries to the Center. A few favorite options include:
