For six days leading up to the Spring Career & Internship Fair (Tues, Feb. 18-Thurs, Feb. 20 in Stamp), the University Career Center is hosting special drop-in hours to help students feel prepared for fair!
Drop-by (no appointment necessary) for a 10-15 minute resume critique (please print your resume), practice your introduction to employers, or get a better understanding of what to expect at the Career & Internship Fair. These drop-ins are available to all UMD students.
To maximize your time with us, consider doing the following before dropping by:
1. Create or update your resume so that it is your best-effort document. Resume tips and samples can be found on our website here.
2. Review the Career Fair prep guidance on our website and come with questions.
3. Check out the list of employers planning to attend one of the three days of our Spring Career & Internship Fair.
Drop-in hours dedicated to Career Fair prep will be available in the University Career Center (3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing) for six days:
Monday, February 10 - Friday, February 14, 11am-3:30pm &
Monday, February 17, 11am-3:30pm
There are many other opportunities to get prepared for the fair, including special employer-led workshops and other drop-in hours available for AGNR, ARHU, BMGT, BSOS, CMNS, ENGR, and SPH students. For a full listing of all prep events available, please click here.
