Event Details

Join us on a Career Shuttle to National Geographic on Tuesday, October 10! Founded in 2015, National Geographic Partners shares information via multiple television channels National Geographic magazine, books travel and other businesses.

During our visit, we will hear from 3 different divisions that make up the Digital Department at National Geographic Partners: Snapchat (Snapchat Discover), Editorial/Social Media (including Nat Geo news, social media and analytics) and Visuals (photography, video,UX). You can learn more about opportunities with National Geographic here: (Click on National Geographic Partners). After an information session and panels, we will receive a tour.

On Tuesday, October 10, we will meet in the University Career Center (3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing) at 8:30 am. Depending on traffic, we should be back to campus around 1 pm.

Students of all majors (undergraduate & graduate) are welcome to attend. Space is limited. Once the bus is full, you will be added to our waiting list and notified if a spot opens up.

Due to the limited space and the expected high demand for this trip, we will be enforcing our "no show" policy. If you find you cannot attend this event, please contact Kate Juhl at so that someone from the waiting list may take your spot. If you fail to attend this event, we will charge your student account $25 to recover some of our lost costs.

This event is currently full, but you may join the waiting list by emailing Kate Juhl at
