Event Details

As one of the oldest federal law enforcement agencies in the country, having been established in 1828, the United States Capitol Police has protected the greatest symbol of democracy for nearly 200 years. Today, USCP embodies the best in American policing and serves as a model in security, urban crime prevention, dignitary protection, specialty response capabilities, and homeland security.

At the USCP, you can experience all facets of law enforcement– such as becoming as a K-9 technician, or serving on the SWAT team, motorcycle unit, or one of the nation’s expert bomb squads. You can travel as a special agent while protecting Congressional dignitaries, conduct patrols, screen visitors, investigate threats, manage a dispatch center, and so much more – all within one law enforcement agency. Your career choices and opportunities for growth and advancement are extensive – and there’s no need to move from the National Capital Region or uproot your family.

Come and see us at the University Career Center at 5pm on October 22 to learn more!
