Maryland Metropolitan Education Expo
The Maryland Metropolitan Education Expo (MMEE) 2023 is a one-day recruiting event that offers talented students in the field of education the opportunity to network and interview with school systems and organizations. At our last in-person event, over 50 school systems and organizations attended the Expo, with representation from most Maryland counties as well as the District of Columbia, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York and other surrounding states.

Time: 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Location: Adele H. Stamp Student Union, Grand Ballroom (directions)
Event Details:
MMEE is comprised of two parts:
- Career Fair (9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.): An opportunity for students to meet and network with school recruiters to learn more about school systems and organizations.
Students can also sign up for on-site interviews with districts/organizations of interest. - On-Site Interviews (1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.): The Expo allows students to interview with school systems and organizations for anticipated vacancies. Interviews will be 20 minutes in length and can be scheduled during the career fair portion.

UMD students interested in be considered for on-site interviews can sign up for interviews with districts during the career fair (morning) portion of the event.
MMEE is open to students and alumni from other area colleges and universities. Non-UMD students will be asked to show their ID upon arriving for registration. Non-UMD students wishing to participate in on-site interviews can network with the districts during the career fair portion and sign up for afternoon slots as they are available.

All interviews will take place during MMEE at the school system or organization table in the Grand Ballroom of the Stamp Student Union.
