BIPOC Resume Review
At the University Career Center & The President’s Promise, we are committed to empowering our BIPOC students through our mission, values, policies and programs. The Center staff are here to help, as you pursue your academic studies, to identify and integrate your skills and abilities, pursue career exploration, participate in internships, and acquire post-graduation opportunities in environments that embrace your identity.
A key tool in obtaining internships and jobs is a STRONG resume. If you have not already, we recommend that you check out the Resume Basics module, and use the Resume Checklist Guide. Additionally, I, Asanat Odeyale, UCC DEI Graduate Assistant, along with Pamela Allen, Program Director and Multi-ethnic Students Liaison, are offering resume reviews specifically for BIPOC students. We will review your resume and offer any tips and tricks to turn your resume into a STRONG tool for your career SUCCESS!
To book an appointment with either myself or Ms. Allen, please feel free to do so by signing up through Careers4Terps, under “Events and Career Fairs” located on the left side navigation pane, and selecting the workshop entitled, “BIPOC Resume Review (Date)”. Upload your latest resume under “My Resume & Other Documents” also located on the left side navigation panel.
