The Maryland Made student-athlete development team is hosting this program as part of their signature career readiness series. This program is open to all UMD students, alumni, faculty, and staff. There will be a social with food and card games starting at 6pm with the program to follow at 7pm.
"Professionalism" is a racist construct and traditional career readiness programming and practices protect whiteness and white supremacy (NOT P!). As such, the purpose of this program is to center Black voices and share Black practices that amplify our truths, advance our joy, and protect our peace.
This program will be facilitated panel style with opportunities for audience engagement. Our panelists are listed below.
