When is the Spring Career Fair?

All UMD undergraduates, graduates, and alumni are invited to attend the Spring Career & Internship fair, the largest recruiting event of the semester, Feb 26-28, 2025!

However, pre-registration is not required.

The fair is an excellent opportunity for Terps, Terp-Alum, and employers to connect at our biggest campus recruitment event of the season.

  4. A Notepad and Pens

Departmental Campus Career Fairs

  • Date: Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Location: The Clarice Performing Arts Center
  • The Performing Arts Career & Internship Fair will be held on February 5, 2025, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. in the Grand Pavilion in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. Students and employers in the performing arts are invited to connect and engage during this exciting recruitment event.

  • Location: Riggs Alumni Center
  • This event brings together top employers and talented undergraduates from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. This fair is open to Smith undergraduate students and Smith undergraduate alumni. Students will be seeking externships, internships, and full-time opportunities from all eight business majors: accounting, finance, marketing, supply chain management, operations management and business analytics, information systems, management, and international business.

  • The Maryland Metropolitan Education Expo is a one-day recruiting event that brings together school systems, education-based organizations, and talented applicants in the field of education. University of Maryland students and alumni and highly qualified applicants from local academic institutions interested in the field of education are invited to attend.

  • The University of Maryland's Department of Computer Science Internship and Career Fair is a bi-annual event in which high-profile companies gather to meet undergraduate, graduate, and PhD computer science students who are looking for challenging and rewarding internships, co-ops, and full-time careers that will value and foster their technical capabilities. This private event connects many of the department's 3600+ undergraduate students and 250 graduate students to innovative and exciting companies throughout the U.S. including startups, government organizations, Fortune 500 companies, and tech giants.

  • Join us for the 7th Annual Visual Arts Reverse Career & Internship Fair at the University of Maryland! Structured as a reverse career fair, connect with approximately 40 talented students skilled in graphic design, video production, and immersive media/AR & VR! Students will display their work at each table. As an employer, you will be able to circulate around the room to meet students, check out their work and pick up resumes. These students will be seeking a mix of part-time, full-time and internship opportunities. Don't miss this FREE opportunity to connect with some of UMD's most creative and talented students!

  • The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Career Fair is held twice a year during both the spring and fall semesters.  Each fair is attended by approximately 40 employers looking to hire from our accomplished group of students.  Students will have the opportunity to meet with employers for internships or full-time employment.

Networking Events

Success Hour Diversity Networking Event is returning to the Adele H. Stamp Student Union, Atrium Room. Come engage and network with employer representatives seeking talented Black, Latinx, and other diverse Terps.

Past students experienced SUCCESS acquiring internships & jobs through networking while learning about the practices of diversity and inclusion within a professional workplace environment.

This event will be a great way to practice your informational interviewing skills with industry professionals. Take the next step towards becoming a #SuccessfulTerp!
