The October Commission on Sustainability meeting will take place next Wednesday, October 19th, from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. It will feature community-based non-profit organizations that are leading sustainability, climate change, and resilience efforts in the region. Each organization will share how its work aligns with strategies and actions in the 2019 Sustainability Plan. Learn how community-based partners are advancing green jobs by empowering those who have had involvement with the criminal justice system, fostering healthy school environments, implementing zero waste strategies, and supporting the local economy through small business development.
The event is hosted via WebEx and you can join by computer or phone. We look forward to seeing you there!
