Location: TBD
Please consider joining us for this panel and networking event to hear from INFO alumni who are working in some unexpected industries and organizations, but are using and growing the skills they learned in the INFO College.
INFO students occupational interests range widely: data analytics, UX design, archiving, cybersecurity, IT, project management, database administration, and many more! But do you have to work at a tech company? Are there others places can you go to get these kinds of jobs?
Short answer = there absolutely are! INFO students' interests and skills are interdisciplinary and needed in almost every industry. You can and should consider diversifying the types of organizations you look at for many of the most commonly pursued areas in INFO. This can be an especially helpful approach in a challenging job market.
This event will have approximately 45 minutes to an hour of time reserved for the panel and approximately 30-45 minutes reserved for open networking.
This event is intended for INFO students, but students and alumni of any major or program are welcome to attend
