Location: University Career Center, 3100 Hornbake Library South Wing
Join the University Career Center for an interactive workshop designed to help students strengthen their approach to finding internships, jobs, and other ways to build experience. Participants will learn about the current job market, how to use campus and external resources to search effectively, and ways to stay organized throughout the process. The session will also cover strategies for making a positive impression through resumes and interviews, connecting with professionals in their field of interest, and identifying ways to gain relevant experience beyond traditional internships. Students will leave with practical tools to navigate their search with greater focus and confidence.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the workshop, students will be able to:
- Identify trends and realities in the current job and internship market that may shape your search.
- Use campus and external resources to find internships, jobs, and other relevant opportunities.
- Develop strategies for organizing and managing your search effectively.
- Create one or two actionable next steps to move forward in their career development.
