Fall 2026 Career & Internship Fair
When is the Fall Career Fair?
All UMD College Park undergraduates, graduates, and alumni are invited to attend the Fall Career & Internship fair, the largest recruiting event of the semester, October 1–2, & Virtually on October 8, 2026!
Who Will Be There
Typically, over 300 employers, from various sectors and industries, attend our bi-annual career fairs.

We offer various upcoming events and programs to help you prepare for the Career Fair!
How do I Sign Up?
Eligible attendees include:
- Current UMD College Park Students and their spouses
- UMD College Park Alumni and their spouses
- UMD College Park Faculty/Staff and their spouses **
- Shady Grove Campus Students (from UMD College Park)**
Unfortunately, individuals from other University System of Maryland schools or outside the UMD College Park community will not be admitted. **For more information, please review the event in Handshake. Preregistration is not required for UMDCP students or alumni.

Departmental Campus Career Fairs
ECON Networking & Career Fair

The ECON Networking & Career Night connects students with UMD alumni and employers working in the areas of applied economics research, policy analysis, financial services, and consulting with federal government and private sector organizations throughout the DC Metro area.

Smith Undergraduate Career Fair

The Smith School Office of Career Services is excited to host its annual Fall Smith Undergraduate Career Fair! The Smith Undergraduate Career Fair brings together top employers and talented business school students at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. UMD Law School Fair 2026

The University of Maryland's Pre-Law Advising Office is partnering with the University Career Center & The President's Promise to present the UMD Law School Fair on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Stamp Student Union, Grand Ballroom.
This event provides a unique opportunity for students and alumni considering law school to meet face-to-face with law school admissions representatives from across the country. Over 100 law schools typically attend this event. Suggested attire for this event is business casual.
