All UMD undergraduates, graduates, and alumni are invited to attend the Fall Career & Internship fair, the largest recruiting event of the semester, September 24-26, 2024!

Students can sign up for the fair in Handshake

However, pre-registration is not required.

The fair is an excellent opportunity for Terps, Terp-Alum, and employers to connect at our biggest campus recruitment event of the season. 

What to bring:

  1. Yourself and your friends, classmates
  2. Your UMD-Issued Student ID
  3. Resumes
  4. A Notepad and Pens
  5. Professional or Business Casual Attire is Recommended

Departmental Campus Career Fairs

Connect with organizations looking to hire for part-time, internship and full-time positions in these fields and learn about ways to build your experience on our campus.

The University of Maryland's Department of Computer Science Internship and Career Fair is a bi-annual event in which high-profile companies gather to meet undergraduate, graduate, and PhD computer science students who are looking for challenging and rewarding internships, co-ops, and full-time careers that will value and foster their technical capabilities.

The CS Career and Internship Fair is only open to current students from the programs listed below and Computer Science Alumni.

Computer Science Alumni are invited to attend the fair. In order to register and attend, you will need to create a Handshake alumni account.

  • When: Monday, Oct. 21, Time: 1-4 p.m.

  • Where: Knight Hall on campus

  • Details: The University of Maryland's Merrill College of Journalism Internship and Career Fair is an annual event. Attendees include local and national journalism organizations including newspapers, television, digital publications and more. Undergraduate and graduate students who are looking for challenging and rewarding internships and positions that will support their journalism careers of all majors are welcome.

Networking Events

Do you major/minor in or speak another language? Are you interested in a future career with an intelligence agency? Join us for a special networking breakfast connecting language faculty, students and intelligence agency recruiters. The breakfast will be held on October 9th from 9:30-11 am. Brief remarks/introductions will be provided at 9:30 am.

Employer Industry Meetups

Industry specific recruiting roundtables for employers and students to connect.

All UMD students are welcomed to explore paid, part-time job opportunities on-campus or in the College Park vicinity.
