Searching and applying for jobs and internships is stressful! Not only can it be hard to know where to start and how to go about the search process, but it almost always includes managing mental and emotional stress. Dealing with anxiety, stress, worry, and insecurity in the job and internship search is both common and normal! This is especially the case in our current moment, as the job market is highly competitive and searches are taking longer than they have in recent years.

Please join Monique McIntyre (Embedded Counselor for the INFO College) and Kevin Kenneally (Program Director for the University Career Center at INFO) for this event that will feature 1) A brief presentation with tips related to how to effectively go about your job search and 2) Unstructured time to actively work on your job search with career and counseling support readily available to you as you have questions.

This workshop is open to all students, but is specifically targeted to students in the College of Information.

Specific accommodations should be requested at least two weeks prior to the event by contacting the University Career Center & The President’s Promise at ucc–studenthelp@umd.edu
