Booz Allen Hamilton invites you to our 2023 Equity in Government Services Hackathon. Join us in person in Washington DC or virtually from anywhere on November 17th and 18th to collaborate and solve real challenges to making THE world more equitable. The Equity in Government Services Hackathon brings different people together to solve problems and develop new and innovative ideas that will fuel our data-enabled mission work with our clients.

By leveraging colleges' and universities' collective skills and concepts, we aim to generate innovative solutions that promote equality, dismantle systemic barriers, and create a more inclusive world for all. Who Can Participate? The Equity Hackathon welcomes a broad spectrum of participants. If you're passionate about social equity and are driven to create innovative solutions, you're the right fit!

Here's what we're looking for:

  • Time Commitment: You should be available for the event
  • Location: Whether you're local or joining us remotely, everyone is welcome! Those nearby will have the chance for direct collaboration if they choose, adding an extra layer to the experience.
  • General Experience/Background: We believe that diversity breeds innovation

So, whether you're from a technical background or have a keen interest in social equity, we need your perspective. Participants with varied skills—from data expertise to creativity—will make this hackathon a success.

  • Professional Goals/Motivators: If you're eager to learn, grow, and make a tangible difference in social equity, this is your platform. The event promises the opportunity to address pressing issues and the potential for your solutions to gain recognition and possibly be implemented.
  • Personality Traits: We value collaborative, innovative, and resilient participants. The best solutions come from those who can handle pressure, remain persistent, respect diverse opinions, and remain open to feedback. If you're solution-oriented with a never-give-up attitude, you're just who we seek.
