FBI Information Session: Technical Careers in the Operational Technology Division

This information session will be for students at the University of Maryland who are interested in pursuing a career in STEM. The Operational Technology Division of the FBI develops and deploys technology-based solutions to enable and enhance the FBI’s intelligence, national security, and law enforcement operations. OTD is staffed with a wide array of highly-skilled and multi-disciplined agents, engineers, electronic technicians, forensic examiners, and analysts who support our most significant investigations and national security operations with advanced electronic surveillance, digital forensics, technical surveillance, tactical operations, and communications capabilities. Some of the targeted positions OTD is looking to fill currently are computer scientist, electronics engineer, electronics technician, IT specialist - Data management, IT specialist - digital forensic examiner, and IT specialist. Operational Technology Division (OTD) mission: To deliver technology-based solutions that enable and enhance the FBI’s intelligence, national security, and law enforcement operations.

 

The FBI will also be discussing their Collegiate Hiring Initiative and the Honor's Internship Program. Both of these programs will be of interest to all a majors.
