Departmental Career Fairs

  • Friday, February 6, 2026, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Location: Riggs Alumni Center at the University of Maryland
  • This event brings together top employers and talented undergraduates from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. This fair is open to Smith undergraduate students and Smith undergraduate alumni. Students will be seeking externships, internships, and full-time opportunities from all eight business majors: accounting, finance, marketing, supply chain management, operations management and business analytics, information systems, management, and international business.

  • The Maryland Metropolitan Education Expo is a one-day recruiting event that brings together school systems, education-based organizations, and talented applicants in the field of education. University of Maryland students and alumni and highly qualified applicants from local academic institutions interested in the field of education are invited to attend.

  • This fair is an excellent opportunity to meet University of Maryland undergraduate and graduate students seeking full-time, part-time, and internship positions in architecture, planning, historic preservation and real estate development. The event is cosponsored by the University Career Center & The President's Promise and The School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (www.arch.umd.edu).

  • The University of Maryland's Department of Computer Science Internship and Career Fair is a bi-annual event. Attendees include undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. computer science students who are looking for challenging and rewarding internships, co-ops, and full-time careers that will value and foster their technical capabilities. This private event connects many of the department's 3600+ undergraduate students and 250 graduate students to innovative and exciting companies.

  • Engineering Career Services will host a Multi-Industry Engineering Career Fair this spring.  Employers will have the opportunity to meet with undergraduate and graduate students, all of whom are seeking either internships or full-time employment.

  • The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Career Fair is held twice a year during both the spring and fall semesters.  Each fair is attended by students seeking internships or full-time employment.

  • Join us for the 8th Annual Visual Arts Reverse Career & Internship Fair at the University of Maryland! Structured as a reverse career fair, connect with approximately 40 talented students skilled in graphic design, video production, and immersive media/AR & VR! Students will display their work at each table. As an employer, you will be able to circulate around the room to meet students, check out their work and pick up resumes. These students will be seeking a mix of part-time, full-time and internship opportunities. Don't miss this FREE opportunity to connect with some of UMD's most creative and talented students!

  • UMD's Environmental Career & Internship Fair is open to employers seeking to hire for full-time, part-time and internship positions in the fields of environmental policy, research, GIS, conservation, and sustainability. While engineering organizations looking to hire in these fields are welcome to participate, this fair is not targeting environmental/civil engineers as a primary student audience.

  • The Reed-Yorke Health Professions Advising Office (HPAO) is glad to present the annual Spring Health Professions Fair! HPAO is hosting this unique conference to allow students the opportunity to engage with professional schools and services related to a variety of important topics from admission to health professional programs. This half-day event will feature a variety of academic and professional organizations related to the following health professions: medicine, podiatry, optometry, dentistry, physician assistant, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, and genetic counseling.

Employer Industry Meetup Series

The University of Maryland (UMD) Career Center hosts Industry Meetups throughout the semester. UMD’s student body encompasses students from 50 states and 116 countries and includes 102 undergraduate majors, 115 master's programs, and 84 doctoral programs. Our meetups are a great opportunity to connect in-person with and recruit prospective, skilled, and diverse candidates to empower your organization.
