Handshake is a powerful recruiting platform enabling students and alumni to connect with employers, both domestic and international, for their next incredible internship or employment opportunity! Read on for information on how to connect.
- Degree-seeking UMD students:
- Students registered for the current semester can log in to their Handshake accounts at https://umd.joinhandshake.com/edu using their UMD email.
- UMD alumni
- If you graduated less than one year ago, log in to Handshake and enter your UMD directory ID and password. If you graduated more than a year ago, please request an account by emailing ucc-studenthelp@umd.edu or call the front desk at 301-314-7225.
- If you have a Disability and rely on a screen reader or the keyboard for access to your computer, you will experience difficulty using this application. As the University works with Handshake to improve accessibility, please contact uccstudenthelp@umd.edu for assistance in navigating and using this application. A member of our team will respond within 2 business days to assist you.
- UMD Departments are invited to create an employer account to post on-campus employment with the University of Maryland.
- Employers are invited to create an account on Handshake and connect with the University of Maryland.
