The ECON Networking & Career Night connects students with UMD alumni and employers working in the areas of applied economics research, policy analysis, financial services, and consulting with federal government and private sector organizations throughout the DC Metro area. 

We're excited to host you for a fun night at the Stamp Student Union! We will have caricature artists available to draw your caricature, cornhole games, and did we mention we'll have ice cream? 

Come learn tips and tricks for navigating USAJobs, the federal government's exclusive job board. Representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be providing insight on best practices to get your application noticed and how best to use the platform. 

Come learn from professionals in the field combating inequities in access to affordable, nutritious food. We will host a moderated panel, followed by an open discussion and time to speak individually with panelists. 

Advocacy, Legal, & Government Networking Night connects current students with UMD alumni and employers working in legal services, law enforcement, and nonprofit/social justice field.  

Join us for this special event connecting current history majors/minors to alumni of the major! Following a moderated virtual panel, students can join breakout rooms to further connect with alumni in career fields of interest.
