Interns will learn the “business side” of the arts sector. Successful arts organizations, productions, and engagements require a good deal of planning, execution, and community building.

The Clarice is dedicated to providing students with meaningful outlets for creative expression. We have employment opportunities available to students in Guest Experience, Production and Artist Services. Please be sure to register in order to receive the Zoom link. 

Studio A is an interactive center encouraging the self-expression and self-development of the UMD community. We offer a creative outlet for students, faculty/staff, and community members via non-credit courses in the arts.

The Allen Lee Hughes BIPOC Fellowship Program is restarting after the pandemic for the 2022/23 season and reclaiming its roots as a professional training program for individuals who self-identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color).

MedServe places future healthcare professionals in “rock star” primary care clinics across rural and other medically underserved communities in North Carolina. Fellows work in both a clinical role (e.g. as a medical assistant) and community role (e.g. as a health coach).

Students will have the opportunity to learn about careers in fields of interest to ECON by interacting with alumni and professionals in a small group setting. Current UMD ECON undergraduate students interested in applying for openings should attend this event. Open to all majors.
