Enhancement Options
- Sponsorship Opportunities (coming soon): To learn more, contact Sharena Cotellesse Payne at spayne13@umd.edu.
- Set up an Interview Schedule (Virtual or In-Person): On-campus interviews allow you to interview top UMD candidates in a single day, in one location. This is a great way to follow up with candidates after meeting them at the fair. Schedule interviews at the University Career Center or the Engineering Career Services Office.
- Post positions! Promote internship & job opportunities to the University of Maryland - College Park in Handshake. Highly recommended to post before attending the fair.
- Schedule an Employer Session (Virtual or In-Person): Invite students to learn more about your organization and your hiring needs. Learn more about scheduling a session in the University Career Center/Student Union or at the School of Engineering.
- Career Fair Prep Opportunities for Employers to Engage with Students: We invite you to support UMD students as they prepare for our upcoming 2026 Fall Career & Internship Fairs! We’re seeking employer participation to provide resume reviews and offer quick tips and best practices to help students succeed. If you’re interested in participating, please complete the sign-up form (link coming soon) and mark your calendar for the dates you’ll be available. Your involvement is crucial in helping our students make the most of the upcoming career fairs.
- Host an Intern For A Day (Virtual or In-Person): Intern for a Day provides UMD students first-hand exposure to your organization and career field through in-person job shadowing experiences or virtual informational interviews. We welcome representatives from your organization to consider participating in this high-impact experience for the following semester! If you are an employer who is interested in participating in Intern for a Day next semester, review the Intern for A Day Host Guide. You may also reach out to ifad@umd.edu, indicating your interest in being added to our email list and receiving the host registration form (if we are actively registering hosts at this time).
